Mexico City and State of Mexico Enforce Hoy No Circula Vehicle Restrictions June 10‑12, 2026

The environmental program Hoy No Circula continues in Mexico City (CDMX) and 18 municipalities of the State of Mexico for the dates June 10‑12, 2026. No environmental contingency has been declared, so the standard restrictions apply.

On Wednesday, June 10, vehicles with a red sticker and plate endings 3 or 4 that carry holograms 1 or 2 are prohibited from circulating between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. across the 16 boroughs of CDMX and the listed municipalities. Exemptions include electric, hybrid, emergency, public‑transport, and vehicles with holograms 00, 0, as well as motorcycles and vehicles for persons with disabilities.

If the Comisión Ambiental de la Megalópolis (CAMe) were to declare an environmental contingency, the Double Hoy No Circula scheme would expand restrictions, affecting additional plate numbers and holograms. Violations currently carry fines of 20‑30 UMA, roughly 2,300‑3,500 MXN, and possible impoundment.
