Mexico City hosts Foro Maratón 2026 focusing on inclusion
The Foro Maratón 2026 was held at the Utopía Mixiuhca Auditorium in Mexico City, focusing on themes of inclusion, sustainability, and recycling in sporting events. The forum took place one week prior to the Mexico City Marathon.
Athletes and activists, including national paratriathlon selectee Brenda Osnaya, shared experiences regarding discipline and resilience. The organization Achilles México, which supports athletes with guides, also participated. Teresita de Jesús Robledo, director of Achilles México, confirmed that ten teams representing various disabilities—including motor, visual, auditory, and intellectual disabilities—will participate in the 2026 edition of the marathon.
