Mexico City Marathon 2026 entry fee and total participant costs

The XLIII Mexico City Marathon, sponsored by Telcel, will take place on Sunday 30 August 2026. The 42.195‑km race starts at the Central Library and the Olympic Stadium of UNAM and finishes at the Zócalo. Registration closes on 26 August; the entry fee is 870 MXN for Mexican runners and 125 USD for foreign participants.

Beyond the fee, runners must cover travel, accommodation, meals and local transport. Estimated total expenses for non‑resident athletes range from about 5,000 MXN to 12,000 MXN, depending on distance traveled and lodging choices. The event includes wheelchair and visually‑impaired categories, with elite women starting at 05:50 and men at 06:00, followed by staggered general‑population waves up to 06:30.
