The Mexico City Marathon has announced the prize structure for its 2026 edition. According to official regulations, the top finishers in both the men's and women's categories will receive significant financial rewards and gear.

The first-place winners will receive 50,000 USD and a Garmin watch, while the second and third-place winners will receive 20,000 USD and 10,000 USD respectively, along with Garmin watches. Prizes continue down to the eighth-place finisher, who will receive 1,344.86 USD.

Additional incentives are available for record-breaking performances. A bonus of 550,000 Mexican pesos will be awarded to any runner who breaks the historical records of 2:08:23 for men and 2:25:04 for women. Furthermore, a 200,000 peso bonus is designated for the first Mexican athlete to finish within the top three absolute positions. Mexican athletes finishing in the top three will also receive special prizes of 50,000, 40,000, and 30,000 pesos.
