Mexico fuel‑theft crackdown seizes 21,000 L of illegal gasoline and arrests 14

Joint operations by federal, state and municipal authorities in Mexico seized more than 21,000 liters of illegally obtained fuel and detained 14 suspects. In Puebla, two men were arrested and a tanker containing 1,800 liters of stolen gasoline was secured by the Navy, Defense Ministry, National Guard and local police.

In Tabasco, coordinated raids in five municipalities led to the capture of 12 people, the confiscation of 19,200 liters of illicit fuel, a tractor‑trailer, a fuel tanker, three firearms, ammunition, drug doses and several vehicles. All detainees were handed over to the Federal Public Ministry for investigation.
