Mexico implements health credential registration for seniors

The Mexican government is conducting a registration process for the Universal Health Service Credential through Bienestar Modules. For the week of September 21 to 26, 2026, registration is organized by the first letter of the individual's first surname. The process is open until November 14, 2026.

Eligibility is limited to seniors aged 65 and older who receive the Pension for the Well-being of Older Adults, and beneficiaries of the Pension for People with Permanent Disabilities. Minors with disabilities may register if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Required documentation includes a valid official photo ID, proof of address, and a contact phone number.

Additionally, the INAPAM card continues to provide significant benefits for seniors, including discounts of up to 50% on basic services such as property tax and water, as well as transportation and health services. Users are advised to renew their INAPAM cards if they are damaged, lost, or contain outdated information, such as old SEDESOL logos.
