Mexico issues Amber Alerts for missing girls in Puebla and Guasave

Marifer Juárez Aguilar, a 13‑year‑old girl, was last seen on 14 June 2026 in the Popular neighbourhood of Puebla. She was wearing a yellow sweatshirt, blue denim pants and black sneakers. The state's Attorney General's Office (FGE) issued an Amber Alert and urged the public to provide information to locate her.

María Fernanda, a 17‑year‑old teenager, disappeared on 19 June after leaving her home in the Centro neighbourhood of Guasave, Sinaloa. The FGE released an Amber Alert on 21 June, describing her in a black skirt, long‑sleeved shirt and black shoes. Search efforts are being led by the FGE, with local women's institute officials standing by to offer psychological support once she is found.
