Mexico issues Amber Alerts for missing persons in Sinaloa and Guanajuato

The Attorney General’s Office of Sinaloa activated an Amber Alert after 17‑year‑old Victoria Gisel Miramontes Nieto vanished on June 4 in the municipality of Angostura. Authorities say she left her family home in San Isidro and has not been heard from since. The alert urges the public to contact search lines at (800) 8‑90‑90‑92 or (667) 7‑15‑55‑88.

In Guanajuato, state officials launched Amber Alert, Protocolo Alba and Búsqueda Guanajuato for three missing individuals: 16‑year‑old Karla Paola Galván López, last seen June 6, 2026 in León; 35‑year‑old Elizabeth Gasca Sierra, last seen June 2, 2026 in Celaya; and 26‑year‑old Daniel Calleja Ortiz, missing since April 5, 2020 in Villagrán. Detailed descriptions of clothing and identifying marks were released, and authorities ask anyone with information to call 911 or the state prosecutor at 800 (368‑62‑42).
