Mexico activates Amber Alerts for missing minors in State of Mexico, Nayarit and Sonora

Authorities in the State of Mexico issued an Amber Alert for 16‑year‑old Gloria Guadalupe Martínez Rodríguez, who vanished from her home in Ecatepec on 11 May 2026. She was last seen wearing red pants with white stripes, a white short‑sleeved shirt and white sneakers. The alert lists her height (1.60 m), weight (70 kg), brown eyes and distinctive facial scars, and urges the public to call 911, the state emergency line 722‑167‑8808 or the national Amber Alert line 800‑00‑854‑00.

In separate cases, the prosecutor’s offices of Nuevo León, Nayarit and Sonora activated a national Amber Alert for two additional minors. Fifteen‑year‑old Imelda de la Cruz Romero disappeared in El Nayar, Nayarit on 22 April 2026; she measures 1.60 m, weighs 50 kg and has no distinguishing marks. Five‑year‑old Mohamed Osman Ould‑Khettab Meza was taken by his father from his home in San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora on 1 May 2026; he is 1 m tall and weighs 23 kg. Both cases can be reported to 55‑53‑46‑25‑16 or the national Amber Alert hotline.
