The 40-year-old Ecuadorian doctoral student was last seen on August 26 in the Pedregal de Santo Domingo neighborhood. The search follows family concerns regarding inconsistencies in the landlord's statements and reports that the student had expressed fear for her safety prior to her disappearance.
