Mexico lawmaker Oscar Bautista Villegas pushes digital identity protection bill

Deputy Oscar Bautista Villegas (PVEM) introduced a proposal to add Chapter XIII to Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, creating a separate legal category for "digital identity."
