Mexico manufacturing production grows 0.1% in June

Mexico's manufacturing production volume saw a slight monthly increase of 0.1% in June compared to May, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi). Despite this marginal monthly growth, the sector recorded a 2.4% decrease on an annual basis.

Regarding employment, the total number of people employed in the manufacturing industry rose by 0.1% month-over-month, though it fell by 1.5% compared to the previous year. While wages for workers and technicians increased by 3.1% annually, real average remunerations in the sector grew by 0.6% relative to May.
