Mexico Offers Free Mental Health Sessions in Cancún and Veracruz

Speaker Ricardo Ponce announced a free Hekalogía® event in Cancún on Sunday, 2 August. The session will run from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Deportivo Toro Valenzuela and requires prior online registration. Dr. Jonathan Calderón, a surgeon‑researcher, highlighted the discipline’s scientific basis, noting 48 ongoing studies with 18 already published in international journals.

The Mexican Red Cross in Veracruz is also providing free mental‑health and nutrition talks every Saturday in August, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The program, launched in February 2024 by Lucila Ale de Ficachi, the president of the Red Cross volunteers, now includes follow‑up groups with psychologists, nutritionists and therapists. Topics for August cover gut health, emotional communication, the impact of junk food, and child behavior, among others.
