Mexico police confiscate over 10 kg marijuana in Juárez and arrest three in Tulum
Municipal police in Ciudad Juárez discovered an abandoned suitcase on a sidewalk in the División del Norte neighborhood that contained 26 bags of marijuana weighing more than 10 kilograms. No individual was found at the scene and the authorities are investigating the source of the drug load.
In Tulum, security forces detained three people—Cristian Muriel, a 35‑year‑old Colombian, a 53‑year‑old from Tabasco, and a 24‑year‑old woman from Bacalar—during an operation that seized more than 120 doses of narcotics, about 250 grams of marijuana, two portable radios and a Nissan taxi used for public transport. The suspects were transferred to the state prosecutor’s office for further legal action.
