Mexico police locate missing children in Puebla and Hidalgo
After a 12‑day search, authorities in Puebla rescued 11‑year‑old Clara Karina García Fernández, who had been reported missing on 2 July. She was found in the Bosques de Amalucan neighbourhood with a 40‑year‑old man who was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping, bribery and possession of narcotics. The girl received medical and psychological care following her recovery.
In Pachuca, Hidalgo, police responded to a missing‑person alert and found a 12‑year‑old adolescent safe at the local bus terminal after she had boarded a bus to Ixmiquilpan. The teen was handed over to her mother after verification of identity, concluding the search operation.
