Mexican police detain suspects in drug and cargo theft raids

In Minatitlán, Veracruz, a joint operation by the Ministerial Police, the Mexican Army and State Police executed a judicial search warrant at a residence in the Chapala neighborhood. Officers detained a man and a woman, identified as Adrián de Jesús "N" and Yamilet "N", and seized several bags containing plant material resembling marijuana.

In Sanctorum, a locality of Cuautlancingo municipality in Puebla, municipal police pursued a group suspected of cargo‑theft. The chase resulted in the arrest of five alleged gang members and the seizure of two trucks used to transport stolen goods. Authorities are also investigating the possible use of signal‑blocking devices to evade tracking.
