Mexico police tackle vehicle theft in San Luis Potosí and impound recovery in Campeche

In the colonia Simón Díaz of San Luis Potosí, a 1993 Nissan Quest (blue, plates UWC‑470‑Z) was stolen. The owners have asked the public to report any sightings to authorities and to avoid confronting the thieves.

Separately, the municipality of Campeche launched the "Liberaciones del Jaguar 2026" program, allowing owners who have lost a vehicle title to retrieve their impounded cars from the SPSC. The process waives the impound fine and requires identification, a copy of the title (or three witnesses if the title is missing), and any required legal documents.
