Mexico El Buen Fin 2026 projected to generate 235 billion pesos
The 16th edition of El Buen Fin, scheduled for November 13 to 17, is projected to generate an economic impact of 235 billion pesos in Mexico. This represents a 7.3 percent increase compared to the previous year. According to Concanaco Servytur, approximately 200,000 businesses are expected to participate, with 79 percent of sales occurring through physical commerce and 21 percent via digital channels.
The event focuses on supporting micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), which constitute 99 percent of the country's economic units. Key product categories expected to see high demand include fashion, electronics, beauty and personal care, appliances, and mobile phones.
To incentivize participation and formalize commerce, the Tax Administration Service (SAT) will hold a raffle with a total prize pool of 500 million pesos. This pool is divided between consumers and micro or small businesses. Consumers can participate by making purchases of at least 250 pesos using credit or debit cards at registered establishments. Businesses must register on the official portal by November 12 and meet specific tax compliance requirements to qualify for the business-specific prize pool.
