Global economic trends show mixed growth and rising uncertainty

Economic indicators and perceptions show varied trends across several major markets. In Chile, economic perception has deteriorated, with 51% of surveyed individuals rating the current situation as bad, compared to 42% in April. This shift includes growing distrust in government management regarding growth and employment plans.

India reported a 7.8% GDP growth rate, reinforcing its position as a global growth driver. However, analysts note that statistical revisions and complexities in calculating the figures continue to create uncertainty and difficulty in anticipating future economic activity.

In Mexico, investment in certain subsectors has seen significant declines, ranging from 12.5% to 44.5% compared to the previous year. Factors contributing to this slowdown include uncertainty regarding the T-MEC (USMCA) rules of origin and tariffs, as well as energy availability issues in high-demand regions like Nuevo León and Querétaro.
