Mexico seizes over 4 tons meth as three clandestine labs in Sinaloa are dismantled

Federal authorities in Mexico, including the Navy (Semar) and the Attorney General's Office (FGR), carried out two separate intelligence‑driven operations that resulted in the discovery and disabling of three illegal laboratories in the Sinaloa state. The sites, located in the villages of Los Haros and Los Cedritos, were used to produce synthetic drugs. Officials reported the seizure of more than four metric tons of methamphetamine along with a variety of chemical precursors used in its manufacture.

The operations were described as part of a broader effort to weaken criminal networks involved in synthetic drug production. The labs have been rendered inoperative, and the confiscated drugs and chemicals will be destroyed or retained as evidence.
