Mexico to host Rally de las Haciendas and La Carrera Panamericana in 2026

Mexico is preparing for two significant automotive events in 2026. The first edition of the Rally de las Haciendas will take place from September 24 to 27, based in Mérida. The rally will cover 713 kilometers across Yucatán and Campeche, featuring high-performance vehicles from brands such as Ferrari, McLaren, and Porsche. Rather than a speed race, it is a regularity rally where participants must maintain specific average speeds and times to avoid penalties. The route aims to promote regional heritage by visiting historical henequen haciendas.

Additionally, the 39th edition of La Carrera Panamericana will begin in Chiapas on October 16, 2026. The event includes a series of cultural and sporting activities, such as the Chiapas Legacy Tour on October 11 and a classic car exhibition in Tuxtla Gutiérrez from October 13 to 16. The official start will take place at the Central Park of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, intended to boost local tourism and showcase the state's natural and cultural diversity.
