Mexico’s DIF Toluca and Guerrero Educators Recognized for Child Welfare Efforts

The Toluca branch of the Municipal DIF received the State of Mexico No Child Labor distinction for the second consecutive year, presented by State Labor Secretary Norberto Morales Poblete. The award highlights the agency’s ongoing programs in health, nutrition, psychological care, family development and social assistance aimed at protecting children and adolescents.

In Guerrero, the Colegio de Educadoras and Educadores honored former federal legal adviser Esthela Damián Peralta for her commitment to early childhood education. The ceremony emphasized her role in expanding free education, supporting vulnerable families, and directing the DIF system in Mexico City during the pandemic, positioning her as a leading advocate for the protection and development of the region’s youngest citizens.
