Mexico's Rural Development Secretariat and Canacintra launch 2026 Agro‑industrial Training School

The Secretaría de Desarrollo Rural (SDR) together with the Cámara Nacional de la Industria de Transformación (Canacintra) in Chihuahua have announced a School of Professionalization for Agro‑industrial Enterprises for 2026. The programme invites producers and entrepreneurs from the primary sector to strengthen technical, administrative and strategic skills of micro, small and medium agroindustrial businesses. SDR will subsidize 80 % of the tuition cost.

The training consists of eight modules totalling 32 hours, delivered in weekly face‑to‑face sessions from 18 August to 7 October at four sites: Chihuahua city, Saucillo, Cuauhtémoc and Meoqui. Topics include Strategy, Family Enterprises, Innovation, Legal and Fiscal Aspects, Finance and Talent Management, with a virtual session on Regulation and Sustainability.
