Mexico's Tax Authority Deploys Mobile Offices to 34 Municipalities

Mexico's Servicio de Administración Tributaria (SAT) will operate mobile tax offices from July 20 to 24 in 34 municipalities across 20 states. The itinerant modules aim to serve more than 6,500 people and process around 13,000 tax procedures, including registration in the Federal Taxpayers Registry (RFC), issuance and renewal of electronic signatures, issuance of tax‑status certificates and fiscal guidance. No prior appointment is required; offices will be open Monday‑Thursday from 09:00 to 17:00 and Friday from 09:00 to 15:00.

Locations include San Quintín and Mexicali in Baja California, several sites in Mulegé, Baja California Sur, Huixtla and Rayón in Chiapas, Guachinango in Jalisco, and numerous other towns in states such as Chiapas, Chihuahua, Campeche, Ciudad de México, Coahuila, Guanajuato, Guerrero, Jalisco, Michoacán, Morelos, Nayarit, Puebla, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Sonora, Tlaxcala, Veracruz and Zacatecas. The initiative seeks to bring tax services to communities without permanent SAT offices, facilitate compliance for individuals and small businesses, and support local economic activity.
