Mezőtúr announces Bursa Hungarica scholarship program

The Municipality of Mezőtúr has joined the 2027 round of the Bursa Hungarica Higher Education Scholarship program. This initiative is designed to support young people in disadvantaged social situations.

The scholarship is divided into two categories:

Type A: For students currently enrolled in full-time higher education programs. This support covers a period of 10 months (two semesters).

Type B: For high school graduates or those awaiting graduation who intend to enroll in full-time higher education for the 2027/2028 academic year. This support covers 30 months (six semesters).

Applicants must be permanent residents of Mezőtúr. The application process requires online registration via the EPER-Bursa system, followed by the submission of printed, signed forms and required documentation—including student status certificates and income verification—to the Mezőtúr Joint Municipal Office. The deadline for submission is November 5, 2026.
