MG 4X electric SUV launches in China with up to 610 km range
The MG 4X is a compact electric SUV from SAIC's MG brand that entered the Chinese market. It is offered with two motor outputs—125 kW (168 hp) and 150 kW (201 hp)—and two battery packs, a 53.9 kWh unit from Qingtao and a 64.2 kWh unit from CATL. The CLTC‑quoted range is 510 km for the smaller pack and 610 km for the larger, equivalent to roughly 398–476 km under European testing.
The vehicle measures 4.5 m in length, 1.849 m wide and 1.621 m high, with a 2.735 m wheelbase. It offers optional four‑wheel drive, independent rear suspension and up to 21 driver‑assist sensors. Inside, a minimalist layout features a 15.6‑inch central touchscreen, a 10.25‑inch driver display and supports CarPlay, HiCar and Carlink connectivity. Pricing in China ranges from 99,800 to 116,800 yuan (about 53,400–62,500 zł). The model may later be introduced to other markets such as Poland and Vietnam.
