XPENG P7+ launches in Italy with AI tech and competitive pricing

Chinese electric‑vehicle maker XPENG has begun selling its P7+ fastback in Italy. The model, assembled at Magna Steyr’s plant in Graz, Austria, joins the brand’s G6 and G9 SUVs as its third European‑produced vehicle.

Three trim levels are offered: a rear‑wheel‑drive Standard Range with a 61.7 kWh LFP battery delivering up to 455 km WLTP range (€46,170); a RWD Long‑Range with a 74.9 kWh pack and up to 530 km (€52,170); and an all‑wheel‑drive Performance version with dual motors, 370 kW total power and up to 500 km range (€57,170). All variants use an 800‑volt architecture, support 5C ultra‑fast charging that lifts the battery from 10 % to 80 % in roughly 12 minutes, and are equipped with XPENG’s AI Turing chip capable of 750 TOPS of computing power.

ATFlow, the Italian importer, bundles a five‑year/120,000‑km vehicle warranty, five‑year roadside assistance, and an eight‑year/160,000‑km battery guarantee. Customers also receive 3,020 kWh of free electricity and a 15 % tariff discount for five years, thanks to a partnership with energy provider Electrip. The launch is described as “a key step in the European expansion of XPENG,” emphasizing the brand’s strategy to locate production closer to its European customers.
