MG launches new MG 07 sedan with high demand in China

MG has launched its new MG 07 sedan in China, achieving significant sales momentum by securing 10,000 binding orders in less than two minutes. The vehicle is available in both fully electric (EV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) versions.

The electric models feature an 800V architecture with battery options of 67 or 91 kWh, offering driving ranges between 610 and 845 kilometers according to the CLTC cycle. The high-end version supports ultra-fast charging, capable of increasing charge from 30% to 80% in 12 minutes. The PHEV variant, which combines a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor, boasts a total range of up to 1,745 kilometers.

Technologically, the MG 07 includes a 15.6-inch central screen, LiDAR sensors for semi-autonomous driving, and a Snapdragon 8295P processor. While MG maintains a historical British identity, it has been owned by the Chinese conglomerate SAIC Motor since 2007.
