MG launches MG 07 sedan with up to 845 km range

MG, a brand under the SAIC Motor conglomerate, has launched the MG 07 sedan following its premiere at the Chengdu Auto Show. The vehicle is available in seven different versions, with promotional starting prices beginning at approximately 105,900 yuan (roughly 13,500 to 14,000 euros).

The electric lineup includes a high-end model featuring an 800-volt architecture and a 91 kWh battery from CATL, which offers a declared range of 845 kilometers according to the CLTC standard. This version supports 5C fast charging. Other electric variants, such as the 650 and 610 models, utilize 67 kWh batteries produced by Qingtao Energy. Deliveries for the 650 km range version are expected to begin in late August, while the 845 km version is slated for October.

Additionally, a plug-in hybrid version is available, combining a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor. This hybrid model features a LFP battery from CATL, providing a 245 km electric range (CLTC) and a total combined range of up to 1,745 kilometers. The MG 07 features a fastback body style with a liftback trunk.
