MG ZS prices drop in Vietnam to compete with A-segment hatchbacks
MG dealers in Vietnam are implementing significant price reductions for the MG ZS, a B-segment CUV, to clear existing inventory ahead of a new model launch. Some dealers are offering the STD version for as low as 378 million VND and the LUX version for 438 million VND, representing discounts of up to 150 million VND from the listed prices.
These promotional prices place the MG ZS in direct competition with A-segment hatchbacks such as the Kia Morning, Hyundai i10, and Toyota Wigo. The sales push is supported by SAIC Motors Vietnam and local dealers to stimulate consumer demand and prepare for the anticipated introduction of the ZS Hybrid version, expected around November 2026.
The MG ZS is currently the brand's best-selling model in Vietnam, accounting for approximately 62.5% of its total sales in the country. To encourage buyers, some distributors are offering a risk guarantee policy where customers can return the vehicle within three months for a buy-back price of 90% to 95% of its value, alongside standard warranties and financing options through VPBank.
