MHP restructures provincial organization and emphasizes 'terror‑free Turkey' vision

MHP deputy chairman and Ankara MP Mevlüt Karakaya addressed the Mamak district congress, saying the party’s "terror‑free Turkey" goal must go beyond security to include brotherhood, social peace, economic development and national unity. He highlighted Mamak’s historical significance and urged unwavering loyalty to the party leader.

Party deputy chairman Semih Yalçın announced on social media that the MHP’s Konya provincial organization had been dissolved under articles 52 and 54 of the party statute. He also stated that Sedat Göncü was appointed as the new Konya provincial chairman.
