Michael Bublé and Drew Scott to star in Vancouver Giants docuseries

Prime Video has announced the release of ‘Hometown Giants’, a six-episode documentary series centered on the Vancouver Giants, a junior hockey team in the Western Hockey League. The series, scheduled for release on October 16, 2026, follows the team during the 2025-2026 season as they attempt to secure their first championship since 2007.

The documentary features singer Michael Bublé and entrepreneur Drew Scott, who are both part-owners of the franchise. The production aims to provide an inside look at the high-stakes environment of major junior hockey, covering front-office decisions, roster trades, and the personal lives of teenage players navigating the pressure of pursuing NHL dreams while living away from home.
