Michael Jordan's Ferrari and Air Jordan 14 details head to auction and reissue

Michael Jordan’s 1997 Ferrari 550 Maranello, the vehicle that inspired the design of the Air Jordan 14, is heading to auction via the Joopiter platform. The car, which features Rosso Barchetta paint and custom interior adjustments for Jordan, was tracked down after being out of public view for nearly 25 years. The auction, running from September 15 to September 30, will also include the jersey Jordan wore during Game 3 of the 1998 NBA Finals.

In related news, Nike is set to reissue the Air Jordan 14 Retro in the Forest Green colorway on October 31. This specific iteration, originally released in 2005, features a white leather base with dark green accents on the midsole, Jumpman badge, and suede heel. The design of the Air Jordan 14 remains deeply connected to the Ferrari, utilizing quilted leather inspired by the car's cabin and side vents that mirror the vehicle's bodywork.
