The auction, conducted via Joopiter in partnership with collector-car specialist Curated, concluded with the vehicle selling for US$2.7 million. This final price more than doubled the initial upper estimate and set a new public auction record for the model. The sale attracted 43 bids, reflecting a growing collector interest in icons from the 1990s and early 2000s. Experts noted that the record-breaking price reflects a shifting market where a new generation of collectors is increasingly pursuing icons from that era. During his five years of ownership, Jordan drove the car approximately 10,300 kilometers, often using it to travel to Chicago Bulls games and practices. The vehicle currently has 29,774 kilometers on the odometer and retains its 5.5-liter V12 engine. In connection to the vehicle’s design legacy, Nike announced it would reissue the Air Jordan 14 Retro in the Forest Green colorway on October 31.
