Michael Olise backs Harry Kane for Ballon d'Or

Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise has endorsed teammate Harry Kane for the 2026 Ballon d'Or, countering arguments made by Thierry Henry. While Henry suggested that Olise had outshone Kane in the German league last season, Olise dismissed the idea, stating that Kane was the best player last year.

Kane is a top candidate for the prestigious award following a season in which he scored 61 goals across all competitions, including 36 in the Bundesliga. His candidacy is further supported by a hat-trick in the DFB-Pokal final. The winner will be announced at a gala ceremony in London on October 26.
