Michael Penix Jr. drives Falcons offense and announces pregnancy

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. has significantly impacted the team's offensive production since taking over as the starter in Week 3. Since his debut, the Falcons have averaged 40.0 points per game, the highest in the NFL, compared to an average of just 8.0 points per game when he was not playing.

Penix currently holds a 113.1 passer rating, ranking fifth among all quarterbacks with at least 15 pass attempts this season. His presence has also boosted the performance of teammates, including running back Bijan Robinson, who has recorded 339 rushing yards and four touchdowns in the two games Penix has started.

Off the field, Penix and his wife, Olivia, announced they are expecting their first child. Olivia shared the news on social media ahead of the Falcons' Week 4 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.
