Celebrity Traitors returns to BBC with new cast and Scottish Highlands setting

The second series of the BBC reality game show ‘Celebrity Traitors’ is scheduled to premiere on October 1, 2026. Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, the competition will take place in the Scottish Highlands, where 21 celebrities will compete to unmask hidden ‘Traitors’ to win up to £100,000 for their chosen charities.

The cast features a diverse lineup including actor Michael Sheen, presenter Maya Jama, comedian James Acaster, and actress Bella Ramsey. Sheen expressed concerns that his acting background might make other contestants suspicious of his intentions, while Jama noted that her public persona could be both a strength and a weakness in the game.

Some participants have reportedly expressed anxiety regarding the editing process, as they have not yet been provided with screener episodes. In a related promotional gesture, Madame Tussauds London has added a ‘Traitor cloak’ to its Bella Ramsey waxwork, which will be removed if she is revealed to be a ‘Faithful’ during the series.
