Michael Sheen to host BBC Two’s House of Games

Actor Michael Sheen is set to take over as the host of the BBC Two quiz show ‘House of Games’, succeeding Richard Osman after his nine-year tenure. Osman will host a final week of episodes to facilitate the transition before Sheen begins his role.

The revamp will include a makeover of the show’s branding. Sheen, making his debut as a quiz show host, will preside over the recording of 100 episodes scheduled for broadcast this year. The new series is slated to begin on Monday, September 28th, at 6pm on BBC Two.

In addition to his new hosting duties, the BAFTA nominee is also scheduled to appear on ‘The Celebrity Traitors’ when the program returns next month.
