Michael Vu appointed Vice President of Vietnam's FLC Group
Michael Vu, who previously served as the national director of Boeing in Vietnam, was appointed Vice President of the FLC Group effective 1 August 2026. In his new role he will oversee the group’s aviation activities and airport‑infrastructure investments.
FLC signed a principle agreement with U.S.‑based HAS Development Corporation on 22 July 2026 to study the upgrade of Phú Cát and Pleiku airports in Gia Lai province under a public‑private partnership model. The provincial People's Committee had already approved the study plan on 10 July 2026. Concurrently, Bamboo Airways – an airline within the FLC ecosystem – announced the suspension of all charter flights between Hanoi and Lệ Giang from 1 August due to operational constraints.
