Michelin Guide adds Austin and Dallas restaurants to 2026 Texas edition

The Michelin Guide has expanded its coverage in Texas, adding three restaurants in Austin and five restaurants in Dallas to its 2026 guide.

In the Dallas area, Mexican Bar Company is set to expand from its original Plano location at The Shops at Willow Bend to a second site in Allen. The restaurant, led by hospitality veteran Brian Dunne and featuring a menu by chef Patricio Sandoval, focuses on Mexican flavors with regional influences.

In Austin, the local dining scene is seeing various shifts, including the opening of a new Urban Egg location on Burnet Road and the closures of Saturn Cocktail Club and Pecan Street Station Deli & Grill.
