Michelotto Gruppo 4 Tributo unveiled as new lightweight sports car

AC Motorsport and Michelotto have unveiled the Michelotto Gruppo 4 Tributo, a new two-seater sports car inspired by the classic Ferrari 308 GTB rally heritage. Unlike a restomod, this vehicle is built from the ground up on a custom tubular chassis with an integrated roll cage and lightweight composite bodywork.

The car features a mid-mounted, naturally aspirated 3.4-liter V8 engine that produces approximately 375 to 380 horsepower at 8,250 rpm. It utilizes a five-speed gated manual transaxle with dog engagement, offering eight different ratio sets to allow for customization.

Designed for a direct driving experience, the Gruppo 4 Tributo emphasizes low weight, with a claimed mass of just 950 kg. Its aesthetic includes classic design cues such as pop-up headlights, wide fenders, and a low nose, while modern elements like LED daytime running lights and a carbon fiber diffuser are also integrated.
