Launch of Michelotto Gruppo 4 Tributo

AC Motorsport and Michelotto have partnered to unveil the Michelotto Gruppo 4 Tributo, a two-seater sports car inspired by the classic Ferrari 308 GTB rally heritage. Unlike a restomod, this vehicle is built from the ground up on a custom tubular chassis featuring an integrated roll cage and lightweight composite bodywork.

Technical specifications reveal a curb weight of 950 kg. The vehicle is powered by a mid-mounted, naturally aspirated 3.4-liter V8 engine producing approximately 375 to 380 horsepower at 8,250 rpm. This is paired with a five-speed gated manual transaxle with dog engagement, which offers eight different gear sets to allow for customization based on use.

The design maintains the iconic wedge silhouette of the original 308, featuring pop-up style headlights, side air intakes, and flared fenders. Modern elements are integrated into the aesthetic, including LED daytime running lights and a rear clamshell design with a carbon fiber diffuser. The interior follows a racing-inspired, spartan aesthetic with a digital instrument cluster, analog controls with LED lighting, and a metal gear selector.
