Michoacán Governor inaugurates Coeneo-Zipiajo road reconstruction

Michoacán Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla has inaugurated the reconstruction of the 4.3-kilometer road connecting Coeneo de la Libertad with the indigenous community of Zipiajo. The project, which required an investment of 18 million pesos, aimed to address years of neglect and severe road damage.

The new infrastructure is expected to benefit approximately 6,830 residents by ensuring regional connectivity. In addition to this highway, the administration has completed 14 works in the Coeneo municipality and rehabilitated four schools using state funds without incurring public debt.

Rogelio Zarazúa Sánchez, Secretary of Communications and Public Works, announced that upcoming educational infrastructure projects in Coeneo will involve an additional investment of 7.5 million pesos.
