Xbox 25th Anniversary Celebration Rolls Out Free Rewards and Global FanFest Tour

Microsoft announced a worldwide celebration for Xbox’s 25th anniversary. Starting today, players can download a set of community‑created gamerpics, background images and a dynamic console theme designed by creators Klobrille and Ben Kenobi. A commemorative profile badge is automatically granted to anyone who signs in on console, PC or the Xbox mobile app and will remain available through the end of 2026.

Xbox Game Pass will feature a curated anniversary collection of classic titles spanning every Xbox generation, including Fable Anniversary, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Fallout 4 and Psychonauts 2. The company also released the schedule for the Xbox FanFest tour, with stops in Cologne (Germany, Aug 26 at Gamescom), Tokyo (Japan, Sep 17 at Tokyo Game Show), London (UK, Sep 26), Mexico City (Mexico, Oct 17), Sydney (Australia, Oct 17), Toronto (Canada, Nov 6) and a future date in Seattle (US). An updated Xbox 25th Anniversary hub will continue to provide news and event details leading up to the official anniversary on 15 November.
