MidCity Football Academy Tournament to host European scouts in Ghana

The MidCity Football Academy Agency Tournament is scheduled to take place in Ghana in October 2026, providing a platform for emerging local football talent to be observed by international scouts.

The event will be held across two cities. It begins in Accra on October 19 and 20 at the Alajo Astro Turf, before moving to Kumasi from October 21 to 22 at the Wesley College School Park.

Scouts from several European clubs are expected to attend, including representatives from Belgium’s RSC Anderlecht, Denmark’s FC Midtjylland, and Portugal’s CD Mafra. The tournament aims to connect Ghanaian youth with the international football market and support professional career development.
