MIDeC presents “A fior di mani” inclusion art installation

The collective ceramic art installation “A fior di mani” was presented on September 20, 2026, at the MIDeC gardens in Laveno Mombello to coincide with World Alzheimer's Day. The project is a participatory work designed to promote social inclusion through art.

Created by guests of the Fondazione Menotti Bassani ETS and the Progetto Rughe ODV, the installation was guided by Fabio Carnaghi and the ABRACADABRA project, led by Denis Imberti and Stefano Tasca. The work follows a mention awarded by the MIDeC Prize 2025 to ABRACADABRA for its experimental approach to inclusion using ceramics for vulnerable individuals.

The installation takes its name from a verse by poet Antonia Pozzi, who had ancestral ties to Laveno. The exhibition will remain visible at the MIDeC gardens until October 30, 2026.
