Midttrafik adds dedicated Smukfest buses for Skanderborg festival

Midttrafik has introduced a set of special "Smuk" buses to serve the annual Smukfest music festival in Bøgeskoven, Skanderborg. The service connects festival‑goers from Aarhus, Odder, Horsens, Silkeborg, Galten, Tranbjerg and Solbjerg, with routes clearly marked with an "S". A new direct "lynbus" (route 301S) runs from Aarhus straight to the festival grounds.

Additional routes include 25S from Skanderborg station to the site, 26S to the nearby venue Kærligheden, and a free intra‑city service 21S that replaces the regular city bus during the festival period (2–9 August). Passengers are urged to use the Rejsekort app or a Basiskort for ticketing, benefiting from discounts and avoiding fines for missing check‑in/out.
