Mike Gordon manages operations for Liverpool FC via Fenway Sports Group

Mike Gordon, a partner at Fenway Sports Group (FSG), holds a roughly 10% stake in the firm, which is valued at approximately $1.4 billion. Gordon joined the ownership group in 2001 during the acquisition of the Boston Red Sox, Fenway Park, and NESN.

While FSG is well known for its ownership of the Red Sox, Gordon’s primary role involves managing operations for the Premier League soccer club Liverpool FC, which the group acquired in 2010. Recently, FSG sold a portion of Liverpool FC, between 30% and 40%, at a reported valuation of $7.4 billion to 1892 Holding.
