One of the affected residents, Loui Ridi, is a Palestinian American.

Huckabee, a longtime supporter of Israeli settlements, stated that such actions are a ‘violation of God’s law’ and warned that settlers targeting property owned by Palestinian Americans could face U.S. sanctions. He emphasized that the U.S. stands with its citizens when they are subjected to such attacks. While the Israeli military has deployed troops to the area to push settlers back, residents report ongoing fears of further encroachment.

In separate remarks, Huckabee rejected reports of a confrontation between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. envoy Jared Kushner regarding a Gaza-related plan. He also maintained that the U.S. respects Israel’s sovereignty but must intervene when American citizens are targeted.
