Mike Lindell lacks Minnesota voter registration amid Trump endorsement

Former President Donald Trump endorsed MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell for the Minnesota gubernatorial race. The endorsement came as Lindell, a prominent supporter of Trump’s election‑fraud claims, faced a procedural hurdle: he is not registered to vote in Minnesota.

A review by the Minnesota Star Tribune found Lindell’s active voter registration remains in Texas. He acknowledged previously living in Texas and said he has re‑established residency in Minnesota, but he must complete a voter‑registration filing by the August 11 deadline to be eligible to cast a ballot for himself in the primary.

The registration issue raises questions about Lindell’s ability to run and could complicate the GOP’s strategy in the state’s upcoming election.
